Welcome to the Summer Music Explorers Program 2025!

Drop-Off /Pick-Up Instructions:

Each group has a 5-minute window — please arrive on time and stay in your car.

Times:

  • Bugles: 8:45–8:50 AM / 2:30–2:35 PM

  • Saxophones: 8:50–8:55 AM / 2:35–2:40 PM

  • Violas: 8:55–9:00 AM / 2:40–2:45 PM

If you are picking up/dropping off more than one explorer, please choose the time block that works best for you!

  • When picking up, please write the name(s) of those you are picking up on a piece of paper and place it on your dashboard for a smooth transition

  • If your explorer is being picked up by another family in the program, send an email to bridget@allnewton.org including both adults

Where to go:

Pull up to the bottom of the ramp. Staff will assist your child in/out of the car. Keep moving SLOWLY through the turnaround to exit.

Important:

If your explorer will be absent, please let Bridget know through email at bridget@allnewton.org or phone (617) 433-8996 before 8:45 AM.

  • No early or late arrivals

  • Do not park or gather at the entrance

  • No parking in the school lot (drop-off/pick-up only)

  • You are welcome to park on Comm. Ave (Carriageway) or Prince Street and walk to drop-off or pick-up your explorer

Extended Day:

☀️ — 8:00 AM Early Arrival with Mr. Tyler:

8:00 AM arrival time — For those enrolled in Early Arrival only, please park in our front parking lot and walk your explorer into the building and into Room 102. (2 spots remain - email Bridget to enroll bridget@allnewton.org)

🎹 — Summer Melodies: Piano and Ukulele Extended Day with Miss Kim: (TUES/WEDS/THURS)

4:30 Pick-up time - Explorers will be ready for pick-up in the lobby of the building with Miss Kim. Ensure you check-out with her before leaving with your explorer. If you need to pick-up early, email Bridget ahead of time and she will let Miss Kim know. Pick-up will then happen in the basement in the piano lab (DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT TELLING MISS KIM FIRST).

What to bring each day:

🍓 - Snack
🥪 - Lunch
💧 - Water bottle
Optional: 🧢 - hat, 🧴 - sunscreen (we are outside most of the day, but most areas are shaded)
