The incredibly talented duo of Jilly Martin and Ryan Brooks Kelly have become the next must-see act from New England to Nashville. Over the years, they’ve been featured as support acts for many traditional, and mainstream country artists.

Standouts in today’s crossover country music scene, Jilly & Ryan’s songs bridge the boundary between traditional and new country. They’ve made their mark with highly-acclaimed original music and are winning over audiences each and every time they perform. Jilly and Ryan’s compelling song-writing, dynamic vocal harmonies and stunning musicianship have them poised for a breakthrough in the music industry.

Roald Dahl's The Little Red Riding Hood

Roald Dahl's The Little Red Riding Hood

So begins the wind quintet and piano version of Roald Dahl’s delightful, and fast-paced LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD, with a delightful score by Paul Patterson. Patterson also composed the music for our concert of The Three Little Pigs last season!

The familiar cast of characters are here: there is, of course, a wolf, a grandma and a little girl in a red cape. But Roald Dahl, author of such children’s classics as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and James and the Giant Peach, has spiced things up.

This feisty Little Red certainly doesn’t need a hunter to save her from any wolf!

This concert also features an adaptation of beloved children's book Meet the Orchestra set to classical music!

Featured Faculty:

  • Ela Brandys-O’Neill, Flute/Piccolo

  • Gary Fox, Oboe

  • Richard Shaughnessy, Clarinet

  • Devon Nelson, Bassoon

  • Marina Krickler, French Horn

  • Kevin McGinty, Piano

  • Scott Woolweaver, Viola

  • Evan Haas, Narrator

  • Dennis Alves, Conductor
