Registration/Payment Policy
All registrations and payments must be made prior to the first lesson or class in each semester. MasterCard, Visa, and American Express are accepted. Registration can be done via the web, fax, or in person. Families that register by phone must read the rules and regulations on ANMS website, www.allnewtonmusicschool.com. Once a student is registered these rules apply. A credit card receipt can be mailed to you upon request. To be fair to all students, registration and payment is due by the date stated in the academic calendar.
Registration Fees
A $20 non-refundable registration fee for the first family member, $30 for the entire family is due when registering each semester.
Registration Discounts
Families with tuition exceeding $1400 per semester receive a 5% discount. Elder receive a 15% discount. Discounts are applied at the time of registration
Payment Plan To pay tuition in installments you may do so with a credit card. The tuition will be broken into 3 payments (payment #1 will include 1/3 tuition, the $10 payment plan fee, and the appropriate registration fee if applicable).
1/3 of the tuition must be paid at the time of registration. Please fill out the Payment Plan Form. ANMS will keep all credit card information secure. A new payment plan form must be completed each. A $10 processing fee will be charged.
Financial Aid
These awards are given to families in financial need. Forms are available in the ANMS office or you may download from the website: www.allnewtonmusicschool.com. Students must be registered and pay 1/3 of the tuition before submitting financial aid forms. Awards are given each semester.
Refund Policy
Withdrawal after the third private lesson each semester will result in a tuition reimbursement minus the three lessons taught. There are no refunds on private lessons for withdrawal after the fourth lesson. All fees are non-refundable.
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR CLASSES!
Absences
: One student private lesson absence per semester will be made up. All teacher absences for private lessons and classes will be made up, or a refund awarded at the end of the semester. There are no make-ups for students missing classes. There is one annual make-up day for one class or private lesson canceled due to weather.
Emergency Closings:
ANMS follows the Newton Public School’s policy for emergency weather closings. Announcements will be made on ANMS voice mail, website, radio stations WRKO 680 AM, WBZ 1030 AM, and TV stations WBZ Channel 4, WCVB Channel 5, and WHDH Channel 7.
Holidays:
ANMS follows the Newton Public School calendar. All Federal holidays are observed. Please check the date board in the lobby and take a copy of the ANMS academic calendar.
PARKING SAFETY
Drop Off.
Drop off students near the front door before the lesson and leave the lot immediately.
Parking is available on Prince Street or the carriage road on Commonwealth Ave.
There are only 12 designated spaces. Please do not assume one will be available for you!
DO NOT park on Chestnut Street. It is VERY DANGEROUS!
Pick Up
Pick up students at the front door. Arrive 5-10 minutes AFTER the student’s lesson ends.
Give the student time to pack up, get down the stairs, and be waiting on the porch for his/her ride. Students are safe waiting on the porch, and should be instructed to stay there until their ride has arrived. You may not come early and live park!
This causes a backup of cars onto Chestnut Street, and is dangerous.
Our goal is the safety of all people using this facility.
