Music Therapy
Music therapy uses music making, music listening, improvisation and movement to unlock therapeutic possibilities not obtainable in other settings. Music is used to motivate both expression and the improvement or maintenance of skills in many areas such as developing self-esteem, exploring self-awareness, increasing impulse control, acquiring language skills, developing sequencing skills, increasing attention spans, and/or developing fine and gross motor skills. Research has shown that music therapy benefits children, adolescents and adults with various impairments and special needs. Private lesson fee applies.
