Using traditional stories from a wide range of
cultures, ballads, songs in many languages, and
myths as a foundation for improvisation, children
will create musical accompaniments. Sound effects,
songs and drums will be used to accompany stories
with tuned and un-tuned instruments from around
the world. Your child's active imagination will be
nurtured. An informal performance will be
scheduled in the spring. Each child will have an
individual instrument set to use at ANMS that he
can take home at the end of the year.
