Education: Doctor of Education, Northeastern University (in progress). Bio: Michael W. Ibrahim, CFRE is the Director of Development at the All Newton Music School and on the Arts Administration faculty at Emerson College, Boston. At the All Newton Music School, Mr. Ibrahim plans and implements all fundraising initiatives, including the annual fund, special events, major gifts, planned giving, capital campaign management, grant writing for state, corporate and family foundations, donor stewardship, endowment management, development communications and prospect cultivation. Prior to joining the All Newton Music School, Michael held management positions at Stoneham Theatre, Barrington Stage Company and the Lexington Philharmonic. At Emerson College, Mr. Ibrahim teaches courses in fundraising, institutional advancement and nonprofit management. Mr. Ibrahim is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, is a CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) and is the online fundraising chair for the American Cancer Society (Newton & Brookline). He holds a Bachelors degree in Arts Management from the University of Kentucky, a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Boston University, a Masters degree in Arts Administration from Boston University, and is currently a doctoral candidate at Northeastern University.
