Constantine Finehouse

Born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Constantine Finehouse immigrated to the United States at age 13, settling in Boston. He has appeared in a number of prestigious venues across the United States and Europe, including Symphony and Jordan Halls in Boston, Alice Tully Hall in New York and Salle Cortot in Paris. He is the recipient of the 2004 Foundation Grant from the St. Botolph Club where he is also an associate-in-the-arts and a regular performer. He also received a 2006 Project Award from Classics Abroad to promote his Naxos recordings of William Bolcom’s solo piano music. As a student of Bruce Brubaker at the New England Conservatory, during the 2005-2006 school year he performed at Jordan Hall on four different occasions, having been selected to participate in Concert X, Chamber Music Gala Concert, Beethoven/Schoenberg Festival, as well as a winner of Honors Piano Competition. He attended All Newton Music School and studied with Fred Wanger. In the 2007 school year he joined the faculty of New England Conservatory's Preparatory Division.
