Scott Flavin enjoys an incredibly versatile musical career. Since 1998 he has been a professor of violin at the Frost School of Music of the University of Miami, where he is a member of the internationally acclaimed Bergonzi String Quartet, as well as Artistic Coordinator and Resident Conductor for UM’s Henry Mancini Institute. He also is concertmaster of Florida Grand Opera and the Miami Bach Society, and has been heard in concert across the country and around the world.
As a composer and arranger, his works have been heard on American Public Media’s program “Performance Today” and have been recorded by the Bergonzi Quartet. As a conductor, he has performed at various music festivals and has most recently appeared with violinist Mark O’Connor and the Mancini Festival Orchestra, and will be leading the orchestra of the Miami Mozarteum.
His recordings include chamber music on the Naxos, M&W, and Centaur labels, and commercial recordings on Sony, EMI, and Warner Brothers, including appearances on over a dozen Grammy Award-winning albums. His latest CD of the complete Brahms violin sonatas with pianist Gregory Taylor is currently in production.

Margaret Donaghue Flavin is Professor of Clarinet and Director of the Woodwind Program at the University of Miami, Frost School of Music. She has performed in some of the worlds’ major concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Concertgebouw, the Zurich Tonhalle, La Scala, and for the Maggio Musicale in Florence. She has performed at international conferences in Norway, England, Chicago, and New Orleans, among others. Chamber music recitals include Honolulu, Grand Cayman, London and Paris, as well other venues across Europe and Japan.

Dr Donaghue has appeared as soloist with the Shanghai Broadcast Symphony and the Shen Zhen Symphony, Shen Zhen, China, as well as the Russe State Philharmonic, Russe, Bulgaria. She gives master classes and recitals across the United States and performs with her trio, Miami Chamber Ensemble and newly formed ensemble, MiamiClarinet. She performed the sextet L’Heure du Berger, in London and Paris with composer Jean Françaix at the piano.

Dr Donaghue has recently served a three-year term as a member of the Fulbright National Screening Committee, and appears frequently as clinician and adjudicator. She can be heard often on public radio across the country.

She received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Illinois, the Master of Music degree from the University of Michigan, and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of New Hampshire. Prior to coming to Miami, Dr Donaghue served on the faculties of Central Michigan University and the University of Connecticut. She can be heard on Centaur, Albany, and Altarus labels.

Biljana Milovanovic began her performance career at the age of 15 under the sponsorship of the Concert Management Association "Jeunesses Musicales" while still a student at the School for Gifted Children in Belgrade, Serbia. She holds four First Prizes at Serbian and Yugoslavian National Competitions, and was admitted to the School of Music at the University of Belgrade at the age of 16. She has performed both as a soloist and chamber musician in Europe and the United States. She received her Bachelor and Master Degrees from the Conservatory "Rimsky-Korsakov" in St-Petersburg, Russia and a DMA in Chamber Music Performance from the University of Miami Frost School of Music.

Ms. Milovanovic has performed in several international festivals, on radio and TV stations in the United States, Canada and Europe.

Ms. Milovanovic is also a harpsichordist. Together with her mentor Frank Cooper she played Bach's complete Double and Triple Concerti and appeared with the Miami Bach Society, Bergonzi String Quartet and St. George Chamber Players. In 2002, she won the Duane Wilder Award for excellence in Harpsichord performance.

Ms. Milovanovic is the founding member of the chamber ensemble Ibis Camerata. Her interests in contemporary music led her to collaborate with many composers, notably Yehudi Wyner, Gunther Schuller, Malcolm Peyton. She has recorded and produced the critically acclaimed recordings titled "Glisten", "Sculpting Clouds", and “Boston Diary” released on Albany Records in 2006, 2007 and 2010 respectively.
