Ned Rothenberg, an internationally acclaimed musician, began his musical career at All Newton Music School on the recorder, clarinet and ultimately saxophone. Ned is particularly known for his work in new music and free improvisation, as well as exploring and expanding the vocabulary of instrumental sounds. Over the past 25 years, Ned has performed hundreds of concerts world-wide and has recorded for the Lumina, Tzadik, New World, Axiom, Sub Rosa, Intuition, Victo, Leo and Animul labels.
